A lot of bulky nail art comes from poor layer management – not the design itself.
Chrome, cat’s eye, blooming gel, encapsulated art, and multiple gel layers all build thickness incredibly fast if the structure underneath is already heavy.
This is also why brush pressure matters so much.
Not every layer needs to be floated. Controlled pressure helps compress product and keeps the nail balanced instead of bulky.
Good nail art shouldn’t completely destroy the side profile of the nail. 💀
